Expert Meeting on Laser Applications in Thoracic Surgery
The 1st UK-based LIMAX Workshop dealing with laser applications in thoracic surgery was delivered by University Hospitals of Leicester (supported by Lynton Surgical and KLS Martin) on 29th and 30th September 2017. The event took place at Coombe Abbey Country House Hotel on Friday 29th Sept, and then at the nearby West Midlands Surgical Training Centre on the following morning of Saturday 30th September. The aim of the workshop was to demonstrate the usefulness of laser technology for pulmonary diseases, with the first day consisting of conference-type presentations and the second (half) day allowng attendees to have hands-on experience with the laser equipment in a realistic surgical seting.
