atair® Surgical Diode Laser System

The atair® is StarMedTec's first high power Surgical Diode Laser System operating at a wavelength of 980nm. A maximum power output of 100W allows for fast, efficient coagulation of large tissue volumes (e.g. tumors, Condylomata). The thermal behaviour and haemostasis are significantly improved compared to Nd:YAG at 1064nm.

The atair® Surgical Diode Laser System is based on StarMedTec’s new platform laser design (see the vela® Surgical Thulium Laser System) and includes all its innovative features: ergonomic and compact design, reliable and state-of-the-art components, automatic fiber recognition and an intelligent, intuitive user interface on a high visibility colour touch-screen.

Air cooled, all-solid-state-technology ensures smooth operation and minimal maintenance.
