MY40 Surgical Nd:YAG Laser System
A 40W fibre-delivered Nd:YAG Laser operating at 1.318nm and optimised for the treatment of lung metastases. The significant parenchyma and lobe sparing effect that can be achieved with this laser offers unrivalled medical and economic advantages. The system can be operated in CW or pulsed modes and is also ideal for applications in endobronchial and VATS surgery. A range of fibre bores are available, including 300um, 400um, 600um and 400um gas-irrigated.
The MY40 Laser can be supplied as a stand-alone system (where laser head and power/cooling unit are bolted together), a separate unit (where the laser head could be attached, for example, to a ceiling-mounted supply-and-suspension unit) or as a stand-alone version with an equipment cart (shown left), where now a gas-flow monitor, a smoke evacualtor and a drawer unit are included in the one convenient space-saving system.
